The Story
The Bautista family's coffee tradition began over forty years ago when Bryan's grandparents started growing coffee at Finca Adolfo's — a name passed down through generations, from grandfather to father, and now to him. Located in Musula, Marcala (La Paz), Finca Adolfo is comprised of several lots managed by 12 full-time employees and up to 50 seasonal collaborators during harvest. Before Bryan took over post-university, the farm produced only Lempira variety. Diversifying the varietal repertoire under his leadership has been a valuable asset for the family business — and for those of us who get to enjoy their coffees.
